Here we see the wild nerd in her natural habitat. Observe as she engages in her daily habit of sticking her nose in a book as she walks through the hallways of her school. Note the square spectacles that slip down the bridge of her nose, the untidy knot of dark brown hair that she can't be bothered to fix, the eyes that remain keenly focused on--- wait. Wait a second. Something has caught her attention. It's a male! She blinks once in apparent surprise. He bares his teeth in what is called a "smile" and lifts his hand. Known as a "wave", this gesture serves as a common greeting among this species.

I wonder, will the creature return the male's greeting? Let's see... she's--- [gasp] I don't believe it. I simply don't believe it. She is putting her book away. She--- she smiles and waves back at him! It may sound odd, but it appears as though she is... interested in the male! Could it be? Are we finally going to get to observe the courting rituals of the wild nerd? This is incredible! This is astounding! This is--- this is...

Oh. Just a moment... ah. Forgive me. It wold appear that the male did not intend to greet the nerd. Instead, it seems that his "wave" was meant for the bosomus bodacious specimen behind the nerd.

...Join us next week, when the nerd, yet again, watches the male longingly from a safe distance.
